Pancolar 50mm f1.8

This photo was taken from a wall at Presidente Hotel in Macao. Minimum focusing ability is not as close as the 35 f2.4 Flektagon, but details are well captured with very good colour rendition.

I use CZJ Pancolar 1,8/50 MC on my 20D almost all the time. It's sharp, with good color rendition and good bokeh in non-macro distances. With at close distance with macro rings the bokeh gets conspicious hexagonal out-of-focus highlight areas and therefore is not as good for macro. I also own Carl Zeiss Planar T* 1,7/50, but rarely use it with 20D simply because Pancolar is (for my eyes) just as good and I rather use the C/Y adapter for other lenses (mainly Planar 1.4/85).
